The Centre is a Junction of Studies of the Mind

a place where divergent ways of considering our existence come together, a place where neuroscience meets yoga and meditation meets Freud, a place where the goal is understanding ourselves through various teachings, and a place where our own intuition is as valid of a way of knowing as modern science or philosophies that are over 6000 years old.

It is also a junction of science and wisdom. From one perspective, the centre is also about scientific research, both conducting it and applying it. Science is one tool, or one way of knowing, that is complemented by ancient ways of knowing like Yoga and Buddhism.  At the centre of this junction is idiological study - the study of ourselves for the purpose of developing intuition, self-awareness, self-directedness, and ultimately self-actualization.

for life and professional skills. Skills that allow us humans to find happiness, reach our dreams, and fulfill our purpose.

The Centre is a Community

full of good ideas, honourable intentions, and open-hearted and open-minded people. Like everything, nothing is complete on its own and in the spirit of this ideology, the centre was created to represent a collection of expertise that, together, can do so much more than any one can on his/her own. All of our talents meet in the centre.

The Centre is a Knowledge Translation Institute

that reviews relevant scientific studies for the general public. These reviews can also be commissioned by various organizations in health and wellness and corporate training and development centres.
